ABOUT MS. Kim

 

My name is Dianne Kim and I am thrilled to be your Third Grade teacher. I have been teaching for seven years and joined the MES family three years ago. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and began teaching through a lateral entry program at East Carolina University.

 

My parents are originally from South Korea and moved to North Carolina over thirty years ago. I was born and raised in Wake County. Now, my family is spread out all over the eastern US. My mom and step-dad live in Potomac, Maryland; my older brother and his family live in Jersey City, New Jersey, and my two step sisters live in Nashville, Tennessee. Most of my extended family lives in South Korea and I love traveling to go visit them. 

 

I am looking forward to partnering with you to ensure a successful school year for your child.
